CBSE Results: All the hullabaloo!

A humorous take on the CBSE Class XII Result declaration

May 23, 2011

And I'm back.

NOTE: If you're just here for the D.P.S. R.K. Puram Class XII Result : Delhi Public School R.K.Puram Class XII Result Sheet

The CBSE Class XII Result was declared earlier today, and here in India, it's either time to celebrate – or hang yourself. That's how important the exam is.

Now, to cut a long story short – you have to do well in this examination. That's it. No other option.

When the result finally did arrive at about 9:55 this morning, (5 minutes earlier than the scheduled time), it was virtually impossible to access the CBSE Result page, due to the huge traffic, which it must be getting at that time.

Now the thing with results is, either you do well. And then that's that. You call up almost every one on earth, informing them about the magnitude of your achievement.

And then, there's the possibility of you, not doing that well. Then, you start checking up other's results to see how many are below even your standards.

Finally you do find that one friend who's done miserably. Extreme pleasure! Momentary condolences.

Now as the case in India is, every body wants every other person's result as well. Trying almost all possible permutations of your roll number to check others' is an age old tactic, which, still is, employed by many around us.

Fortunately though, unmatchably awesome quite smart as I am, I registered in the CBSE school wise result section to obtain the complete D.P.S. R.K.Puram result sheet.

There's something satisfactory about watching all those results.

Well if the you've patiently read the entire post and finally reached here, this is the much awaited document. Have fun checking your own everybody else's result!:

Update (2024): The original links don't exist anymore, so they have been removed. Also, in a (now) hilarious – at the time, not so much – twist of fate, my own Class XII result turned out to be catastrophically bad considering my stellar academic track record. Here's me putting out the result on the internet as penance for doing the same to others thirteen years ago:
